  • La amenaza Iraní [The Iranian Threat (in Latin America)]

Univision has aired a story about Iranian intelligence activities in Latin America, including Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, and Cuba, not to mention Miami. The focus of the Iranian activity was on cyber attacks. The targets: US government networks and critical infrastructure to include nuclear power plants. The reports shed light on, among other things, the Iranian use of religious training and missionary work as a cover.

The best of it is in Spanish:

    La amenaza Iraní

But parts have been translated to English:

'That is how I infiltrated Iran'

Iranian diplomat Mohammad Hassan Ghadiri w/his new recruit.
Ghadiri has since returned to Iran and is busy issuing denials
    and making counter-accusations.

Who is who in the Iranian threat in Latin America

Mohsen Rabbani, wanted for his involvement in the bombings of
the Israeli embassy and Jewish community center in Argentina,
has long since returned to Iran. He teaches the 'Islamic Revolution'
class to the new recruits from Latin America.

    The Venezuelan connection

Livia Antonieta Acosta Noguera, Venezuelan Consul in Miami

Investigation requested into Venezuelan consul in the US

And the money quote, from Ghadiri:
El embajador dijo que tenía la impresión de que los estudiantes eran infiltrados de la CIA.
